MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORIES ARE IN..
and
are being distributed. I can't wait to start using it and looking up all
our newest members. The next time you do business with other Chamber
members, let them know that you are doing business with them because
they are Chamber members, this will increase their awareness of the
chamber and give them a sense of belonging, it also creates a
stronger bond and friendship amongst the members rather than doing
business with strangers.
Proudly hang your Chamber plaque where your patrons and customers
can see it and keep your Chamber Directory on your desk and you'll
use it almost daily for easy access to numbers of your friends,
colleagues and a source for new products and businesses. Pick up
your new directories at the Chamber Office or the next Luncheon.
They make nice giveaways for your customers, too.
There is still room for a few more golf foursomes in our Annual Golf
Tournament being held at the Miami Shores Country Club, Friday , May
2, 2008. This year the tournament was re-named after a great Chamber
and City leader - The Bill Valentine Memorial Scholarship Golf
Classic. If you don't play golf, we can use volunteers to help
during the tournament and we have a great buffet and auction
afterwards at the Country Club.
