Larry Sarbey, broker at Biscayne Park Real Estate, Inc., grew up and is a resident for decades in Miami-Dade County. He has degrees from FAU and U/F and has long been interested in real estate. He bought his first property…a duplex living on one side and renting out the other as so many do. Since that time he has bought a number of other properties both residential and commercial. Doing this he discovered valuable benefits of having property. Biggest items include doing maintenance and improvements in your own way, & having income, income tax expense write-offs, and appreciation.

Appreciation is easy to understand and like. Things go up in price. Selling a property after having it for some time…it is possible to “double-your-money”. This gain happens easier than it would by the discipline of a savings plan using income from a job or career. Many people work and invest in real estate…it’s a smart thing to do.

Barry Menzell, Realtor sales associate at Biscayne Park Real Estate, Inc. grew up on South Beach and spent most of his life in Miami-Dade County.  He got his real estate license in 1985.  After working at an ERA company for a few years, he joined forces with Larry at Biscayne Park.

Barry often speaks at business and realty groups sharing his expertise in property valuation and deal structuring among other subjects.  He has bought and sold over 800 properties for his clients and over 110 for himself.  He is an expert in the use of computers to assist in buying, selling, valuation, and marketing of real estate.

He is very successful at finding creative approaches when necessary.  He is a great communicator, knows of special financing options and is very good at investor analysis.  Working with both commercial and residential properties, he has a lot of experience with the issues of unique properties such as those with non conforming use, mixed uses, and those which are grandfathered in.

He does comprehensive research about property value in reports for clients; and also comes up with helpful “off-the-cuff” valuations.  This is possible because of his intuition about the market  at any given time.  Barry knows what properties are worth.

For buyers, he creates custom searches to find the property you’re looking for at the best price available; and has very good negotiating skills.
For sellers he assists in determining value and sets up an intense and unique marketing plan to sell the property.  While every offering is a market test; he does things in such a way to get the highest price, in least amount of time, with least inconvenience.
