Impacted by COVID-19?
You May Qualify for EMERGENCY MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE
Thanks to a HUD grant made possible through the City of North Miami, homeowners who are in arrears or at-risk of foreclosure may be eligible to receive up to $5,000, not to exceed six months of mortgage payments.*
COVID-19
Homeowners experiencing hardship due to COVID-19 challenges* may be eligible if they are current on the mortgage but are in jeopardy of being in arrears or have an expired forbearance. The grant will pay the principal and interest but not the escrow.
*COVID-19 challenges could include loss of employment due to the pandemic, reduction of work hours or mandated repayment of medical expenses.
Are you late on your rent or mortgage and at-risk of eviction/foreclosure?
Are you late on paying utility bills such as electric, water or telephone?
If yes, then there may be a grant through the North Miami CRA to help.
To Qualify:
You must have a qualifying financial challenge such as loss of employment, an unexpected expense or medical bills resulting from COVID-19.
Tenants/Homeowners will NOT be eligible if bills exceed $4,000.
